met up with calyn on thursday after my last paper. had wanted to go cycling but due to some inconvenience of yours truly, we ended up watching a movie instead. caught a very sucky movie - Wolf Creek. it was supposed to be a horror flick, but cal and i din find it dat terrifying at all. de so-called climax was at de last 30mins or so, of de show. de plot is draggy and it nearly made me doze off halfway through. tsk. wasted my 8bucks watching such a lousy show! in short, DUN WATCH IT if you intend to.
after de movie, we went to Wisma's Food Republic for our dinner as i was on budget. haha. kinda broke at de moment. oh ya, i suddenly recalled an incident; while on de way to Shaw House to catch our movie, cal and i was stopped by an indian man in long-sleeve shirt and pants at Orchard mrt, asking us to make some donations to help a girl who has some medical problems, and was said to be forced into prostitution. after de whole "story-telling", we found it rather hard to reject him as it would make us seem unkind not to help dat pitiful girl. so, we each donated 5bucks and he gave us a soveneir in return. i dunno if he was true to his words regarding dat girl cuz he din show us any proof of de story right from de start. i did ask if he has any proof to what he said (cuz i know dere are many con cases in town), he only showed me a certificate proving dat he was licensed to carry out dis charity work. -_-'''
oh well, de donation has already been made so i guess dere's no point in grumbling over it anymore. i just feel dat cal and i are always so unlucky dat we have to meet with people asking for donations whenever we are hanging out together. maybe we both look like we are easy to persuade? sighs. whatever. *bleah*
anyway... after dinner, we went window shopping around Wisma. had quite a fun time at Topshop where cal was my model for de day. hee hee. i got her to try on a few pairs of sunglasses and den i took some pics of her from her hp. i think she looks damn cute la. all de sunglasses were too big for her face but at least we found one which fitted her face nicely. dat ONLY pair. i told her she looked like "Chipmunk in sunshades". Lols.
after which, we went home as we were getting a lil' tired. i got up since morning and like most people, i was tired after a day of exams. dear was in town for his company's DND but we din meet la, cuz he wanted to stay for de lucky draw and i was so tired dat i just wanted to go home to rest.
